A case of kidnapping of an innocent child while coming from school yesterday afternoon has come to light. At Shah Colony, a posh area of Pathankot, a child was kidnapped. Whose age is being told as five years.
When this matter was brought to the attention of the police, the police took immediate action and blocked all parts of the city, so that the child could be saved somehow.
The miscreants had also thrown a letter outside the house which was picked up by the child's sister and given to her home, in which a ransom of two crore rupees was demanded.
After this, the police established contact with the Himachal police and conducted a raid, recovered the child at around 12 o'clock last night and handed it over to the family. Seeing the recovery of the child, there is an atmosphere of joy in the family and in the city and people also raised slogans of Punjab Police Zindabad last night.
