Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University Hosts Seminar on Business Management Diploma, Announces New Course

The Department of Commerce and Management of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University hosted a one-day seminar on the Business Management Diploma. Dr. Lakhwinder Singh Bedi, Academic Consultant at Guru Nanak Institute of Global Studies was the keynote speaker. The seminar was attended, by around seventy students and faculty members. Dr. Bedi’s presentation covered the details of the Business Management Diploma program, its future prospects, and opportunities available in international markets. His engaging talk sparked considerable enthusiasm among attendees.
Fifteen students were awarded scholarships for the Business Management Diploma program during the event and sixty students signed up for the program, underscoring its increasing appeal.
Dr. Pritpal Singh, Vice Chancellor of the University in his address highlighted the program's importance in today's global business landscape. He affirmed the institution’s commitment to providing students with the essential skills and knowledge to excel in the international business arena.
Dr. Navleen Kaur, Head of the Department of Commerce and Management, expressed her gratitude to Dr. Bedi for his insightful lecture and thanked the students for their active engagement. She shared that thirteen students had successfully completed their course on Fundamentals of Accounting. To mark this achievement, Dr. Bedi introduced a new course offering—Canadian Business Management. This course aims to provide students with an in-depth understanding of business practices within the Canadian context.
