Desh Bhagat University paid tribute to the legendary freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev on the occasion of Shaheed Diwas by organizing a special program on its campus. The event aimed to honor the supreme sacrifices of the martyrs who played a pivotal role in India's independence struggle.
The program commenced with a floral tribute to the portraits of the three revolutionaries by Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University. Dr. Varinder Singh, Advisor to the Chancellor, University dignitaries, faculty members, and students gathered to remember the bravery and dedication of the young martyrs.Addressing the audience, Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University, emphasized the significance of Shaheed Diwas and encouraged students to draw inspiration from the fearless spirit of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev. He stated, “The sacrifices of our great freedom fighters should never be forgotten. Their ideologies continue to guide us in building a strong and self-reliant nation.”
The event concluded with a pledge by students and faculty to uphold the values of patriotism, justice, and selfless service to the nation. Desh Bhagat University reaffirmed its commitment to preserving the legacy of India’s brave revolutionaries and fostering a sense of national pride among the youth.
