Desh Bhagat University Conducts Hands-On Workshop on PLC Programming

 

The Department of Electrical Engineering at Desh Bhagat University successfully organized a one-day workshop on PLC Programming, offering students a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience and foundational knowledge in industrial automation.

The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members across various engineering disciplines.Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) are essential components in modern industrial control systems, and the workshop aimed to equip participants with practical skills and insights into their real-world applications. The session covered key concepts such as PLC architecture, working principles, and basic programming logic. One of the major highlights of the event was the interactive, hands-on training segment. Students worked directly with PLC hardware kits and simulation software, allowing them to write, test, and troubleshoot basic programs. The workshop also featured lively discussions and Q&A sessions, fostering deeper understanding and engagement among students. Dr. Khushboo Bansal, Director of the Faculty of Engineering, Technology and Computing, graced the occasion and commended the initiative.
