Moot Court Competition 2025 at University School of Law

The University School of Law at Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University successfully organized its annual Moot Court Competition 2025, featuring 14 talented teams. The competition showcased students' legal acumen, research skills, and advocacy abilities.The event was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Pritpal Singh, Vice-Chancellor of the university, who highlighted the importance of moot courts in developing critical thinking and legal reasoning. Prof. (Dr.) Amita Kaushal, Head and Dean of the University School of Law, praised the participants’ dedication and emphasized the role of such events in refining advocacy skills. Dr. Navneet Kaur, ECA In-Charge and Co-Convenor, underlined the significance of extra-curricular activities in shaping well-rounded legal professionals.The winning team included Gulpreet Kaur and Simranpreet Kaur (BA LLB 5th year) and Harsimar Kaur (BA LLB 3rd year) for their exceptional advocacy. Jaspreet Singh (BA LLB 2nd year) was awarded Best Mooter, while Arun Kumar (BA LLB 5th year) won Best Researcher for his outstanding contributions. The judges, comprising legal professionals and faculty members, commended the participants' analytical skills and provided valuable feedback. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, recognizing the winners’ efforts. The Moot Court Competition 2025 was a grand success, reaffirming the university's commitment to nurturing future legal professionals through intellectually stimulating events.
