Plant Health Clinic Inaugurated at Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University

The Department of Agriculture at Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of a Plant Health Clinic. The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of the Jathedar Takhth Sri Kesgarh Sahib Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj, who emphasized the importance of sustainable farming and plant disease management in modern agriculture. He interacted with the faculty members and students of the department and congratulated the department for such efforts which are essential in the present span of time. Vice Chancellor Prof. Prit Pal Singh highlighted the University's commitment to agricultural innovation and farmer welfare, while Dean Academic Affairs Prof. Sukhwinder Singh Billing elaborated on the clinic's role in diagnosing plant diseases, soil health management, and promoting eco-friendly farming solutions.Dr. Jaspreet Kaur Dhillon expressed her delight over the new facility, which will serve as a learning hub for agricultural students and a resource center for farmers in the region. This Plant Health Clinic is expected to benefit farmers by providing free plant disease diagnosis, consultations, and training programs, contributing to agricultural sustainability in the region.
