Desh Bhagat Global School celebrated the vibrant festival of Baisakhi with great zeal and enthusiasm. The occasion was marked by a series of cultural activities that reflected the rich heritage of Punjab.The celebrations began with a special morning assembly where students delivered speeches highlighting the historical and religious significance of Baisakhi. Students from Nursery to Grade 5 visited a nearby Gurdwara to seek blessings and understand the spiritual essence of the day.
The festivities included Inter-House Bhangra and Giddha competitions, where students showcased their talent in typical Punjabi folk dance forms. For students of Grades 7 to 9, exciting Paranda and Turban Tying competitions were held, promoting cultural appreciation and creativity.
Principal Indu Sharma congratulated all students on the joyful occasion. School Chairman Dr. Zora Singh and General Secretary Dr. Tajinder Kaur also shared heartfelt messages of peace, unity, and harmony, making the celebration a memorable one for all.
