Arvind Kejriwal to the People of Chabbewal Constituency, "I always deliver on what I say promise"

The National Convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Arvind Kejriwal, and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann campaigned for AAP candidate Ishank Chabbewal in Chabbewal. Both leaders addressed a large public rally in Jiyan village and appealed to the people to support the AAP candidate.

Arvind Kejriwal, urging people to support Ishank, said, "Two and a half years ago, you gave AAP an historic mandate. Therefore, your expectations are also high." He said, "Two and a half years ago, people in Punjab were most troubled by high electricity bills. Some had old bills of up to 2 lakh or even 1 lakh rupees. We promised you that we would waive off your old bills and your future bills would be zero. We fulfilled that promise. Now, people's electricity bills are zero."

Kejriwal said, "The BJP governs in nearly 20 states of the country, and other states are governed by different parties. AAP is only in two places: Punjab and Delhi, and in both places, people’s electricity bills are zero, and they get 24-hour electricity. In other states, electricity is very expensive. Providing free electricity is like a miracle."

The BJP-led central government conspiring to take revenge on Punjab's farmers for repealed farm laws - Kang

The BJP-led central government conspiring to take revenge on Punjab's farmers for repealed farm laws - Kang

In response to the rejection of Punjab’s rice samples by Karnataka, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) stated that the FCI conducts a quality check before purchasing paddy every year, and only buys after meeting all the required standards. So how did Karnataka’s FCI division fail the samples?

AAP MP and senior party spokesperson, Malwinder Singh Kang, said that the comments made by Karnataka about Punjab’s rice clearly indicate a large conspiracy against Punjab. He added that this year, the central government is reluctant to buy Punjab’s paddy at MSP (Minimum Support Price) and is making various excuses. These are just excuses to avoid buying paddy from Punjab.

In fact, this is being done as a part of revenge for the farmers' movement against the three black agricultural laws. Kang referred to a statement made earlier by former Chief Minister and BJP leader Captain Amarinder Singh, where he said, “The BJP government will not provide MSP for a long time.”

Chief Minister Mann intensifies campaign for by-election, addresses two rallies in Chabbewal

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has intensified his campaign for the by-elections scheduled on November 20 for four seats. On Wednesday, he addressed two huge rallies in Chabbewal and appealed to the people to vote for AAP candidate Ishank Chabbewal.

During his speech, Mann attacked the BJP and Congress. He said that earlier, they used to play a 'friendly match' and colluded with each other, taking turns in power for five years each. They didn’t know that a third party, the Aam Aadmi Party, would come and hold them accountable for their misdeeds. Mann said they had never cared for the people of Punjab, always putting their personal interests first. These parties benefited only their families and relatives. That’s why in 2022, the public defeated the stalwarts and elected someone from among themselves, an ordinary person.

Mann said the BJP and Congress leaders used to show up only during elections, but after the Aam Aadmi Party came to power, they had to change their strategy. Now, they have to step out of their palatial homes and beg for votes. He added that everyone knows who truly loves Punjab and who is working for their own selfish purposes. He said that these people were born with silver spoons, they don't know the struggles of common people, they are only running their political shops.
