The central government is continuously troubling Punjab’s farmers and commission agents - Harchand Singh Barsat

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab General Secretary and Mandi Board Chairman Harchand Singh Barsat sharply criticized the central government for the issues faced by farmers, commission agents, and mill owners in Punjab due to slow grain lifting.

Barsat stated that the central government is continuously harassing Punjab's farmers and commission agents. The center is not listening to the demands of sheller owners and is refusing to lift millions of tons of grain that are piled up in Punjab's mandis. This is adversely affecting farmers, commission agents, and mill owners alike.

He added that the central government’s policies are vindictive, intentionally causing delays in grain lifting to create difficulties for farmers and commission agents. He accused the BJP of taking revenge on Punjab's farmers for the farmers' movement, which is extremely condemnable.
