Desh Bhagat Hospital recently organized an interactive session for Desh Bhagat University’s teaching and non-teaching staff, aiming to promote its specialized medical services. The event, held under the supervision of Dr. Kulbhushan (Director DBAC&H) and Dr. Jyoti H Dhami (Medical Superintendent DBH), featured Dr. BL Bharadwaj, Pro Vice Chancellor Medical and a senior medicine specialist with over 35 years of experience, alongside ENT specialist Dr. Raminder Kaur. During the session, Dr. Bharadwaj briefed university employees on the hospital’s extensive medical services and specialized outpatient clinics, which include departments for ENT, skin disorders, general medicine, and eye care, all offered at discounted rates. He also announced the commencement of dedicated OPDs in medicine, dermatology, and ENT. The specialized clinics are staffed by experts such as Dr. Sumeet Pal Saini for dermatology and Dr. BL Sohal for ENT, who is available every Saturday, while Dr. Raminder Kaur is on duty Monday to Friday. Highlighting the importance of timely healthcare, Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh addressed the participants, emphasizing that regular medical consultations are vital to prevent minor health issues from escalating. The event underscored Desh Bhagat University’s commitment to fostering a health-conscious environment for its community.
