Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College (BBSBEC) successfully organized its annual tech fest, “Tech Titans 2025”, a grand celebration of innovation, creativity, and technical excellence. The event was coordinated by Dr. Doordarshi Singh, Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various disciplines.
The fest featured a wide range of technical and creative competitions, including Robo War, Technical Paper Presentation, Project Expo, Poster Presentation, Quiz, Tricky Circuit, Ideathon, Mad Ad, and the Photograph Exhibition, which showcased the artistic talents of students through captivating visuals. These events provided students with a dynamic platform to demonstrate their technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and innovative ideas. The valedictory ceremony was graced by the Deputy Commissioner of Fatehgarh Sahib Dr. Sona Thind and Jagdeep Singh Cheema, Management Trustee of BBSBEC who attended as Chief Guests. Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Commissioner appreciated the college’s efforts in promoting a research-driven and innovation-oriented learning environment. Dr. Thind appreciated the innovative projects displayed by the students and shared insights on the significant role of technology during the COVID-19 period. However, she also cautioned against the potential misuse of digital advancements, emphasizing the need for responsible and ethical use of technology." Jagdeep Singh Cheema applauded the students and faculty for their dedication in organizing such a successful event. He emphasized that technical fests play a crucial role in shaping students’ skills, fostering innovation, and preparing them for the challenges of the future. Dr. Lakhvir Singh, Principal, BBSBEC, extended his heartfelt appreciation to the organizing team, faculty members, and students for their tireless efforts in making Tech Titans 2025 a resounding success. He highlighted the importance of such platforms in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
A significant highlight of the event was the release of a book titled "Mechanical Vibration," authored by Dr. Sanjiv Kumar Sharma and Dr. Sanjiv Bhandari. The book is expected to serve as a valuable academic resource for students and researchers in the field of mechanical engineering.
As part of the closing ceremony, prizes were awarded to the winners of various competitions, recognizing their outstanding performances and technical acumen. The event concluded on a celebratory note, reinforcing BBSBEC’s commitment to excellence in technical education and innovation.
