A special meeting was held at Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib, to decided the launch of an annual memorial lecture series in memory of Panth Ratan Dr. Inderjit Singh.On this occasion, Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Prit Pal Singh shared that under this lecture series, the Department of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Religious Studies will organize annual events focussing on Gurbani, Gurmat principles, and Sikh history. He further stated that the financial support for this initiative is being provided by the Guru Nanak Foundation, New Delhi. The Vice-Chancellor highlighted Dr. Inderjit Singh’s remarkable achievements in the banking sector and his role in encouraging a significant number of Sikhs to join this field. Partap Singh, Director of the Guru Nanak Foundation, presented a cheque of five lakh rupees to the Vice-Chancellor and expressed his delight over the University’s recognition of Sardar Inderjit Singh’s contributions.
